This review officially marks Make the Apps move from iOS app reviews to Android app reviews because this HTC One X is now my phone!
Here are some of the things I go through in the video:
The HTC One X (international version) comes with a beasty quad core processor and 1GB of ram. The screen is my favorite part as it has a resolution of 720 by 1280 and is perfect for watching HD videos on.
I managed to get my hands on the HTC One S for a day and thought I would squeeze in a quick review.
Overall I loved the design and feel of the HTC One S and it enjoyed the new Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich interface. The phone ran really fast and smoothly and it was an enjoyable experience overall.
This is the free version of Clear Vision by FDG entertainment. It’s a sniper game that’s kindoff quirky but overall I decided to give it the pointless vote. Maybe the ful version would have got the Powerful vote.
In this episode I take a look at a productivity app! (makes a change from games). It’s a to-do list that’s a little bit different. It’s made by realmac software and cost me 69p. I love the way it works and highly recommend it! Powerful!
A YouTube user called “TheBattleDroid8″ asked me to review Infinity Blade 2 in the comments section of one of my videos so that’s what I did in this video.
As I have said before in a few of my videos, if you want me to review an app, ask me in my video comments and I will do it if the app’s not too expensive.
Speaking of expensive, this app costs a fair amount at $6.99. It’s understandable though because the graphics on this game are pretty amazing. The gameplay is decent but pretty repetitive. If it wasn’t for the graphics then this app wouldn’t have got the “powerful” vote from me!
In this video I review Worldictionary by Penpower Technology LTD. This app lets you scan words in using your camera and translates them for you. You can use the camera scanner or simply type words in.
It works really well, but my only issue with the app is that most of the date is online so if you’re abroad, you need to be connected to the internet to make use of this app. We all know how expensive that can be. Speaking of expensive, this app costs £5.49!
My first ever Android review! This was a review of Cut and Slice by Best Addictive Brain Games. It was on a Samsung Galaxy Nexus S. It was a free game and it was quite addictive. The quality of apps in the Android market has really started to improve!
Game Your Video by Global Delight Technologies PVT LTD is a video editing app that cost me 69p. I got it when it was half-price though so it may cost more now. It’s actually a great way to edit videos. Very easy to use and quite fun. It ran really well on my iPhone 4s. No issues with speed or anything.
I thought that Game your video was powerful, what did you think?
I’m pretty embarassed to say that I got addicted to this game and ended up completing it. You would think that at 23 I would have better things to do. Anyway Oh!Monster by 6waves Lolapps is a free app, but you can spend money in the app to buy some coins and get a head start. I completed it without the need to buy any coins so it’s very possible.
This game has a story line, if you like that sorta thing then you will love this. I skipped the stories and just played the game. It’s basically a “wave” game where you get attacked in waves of monsters. You have to protect an “hour glass” and yourself in order to survive each eave. As you progress you pickup coins. With these coins you can build troops, buy weapons and build your own powers in order to fight these monsters.
Amazing free app, I give this the Powerful vote for sure. Let me know what you think!
